Comments: I had a very negative experience with this "organization" which gave me a lot of doubts as to its integrity. I had shown interest in a puppy, was found as a "perfect" match, set up a time to meet the puppy and take it home that day if I decided to adopt her. I was set up for a volunteer to call me that night and meet them the next morning. Then, I sent an e-mail asking for the vet's name and number so I could verify the shots and also obtain a copy for my vet records, as well as asking if the pet had a general health exam. After I sent that e-mail, I wasn't given a vet's name and number (just dates of the shots) and I was told if I wanted to pay for a health exam I could, but they couldn't be held responsible for the health of the dog because I was taking it to a vet where there is a lot of high dog traffic. (Like it's even possible for the dog to contract something and start showing symptoms that would make it have a negative report from the time I walk into the vet until the vet evaluates her.) And that made me wonder, where did the puppy get her shots then??? Also in that e-mail, she said that they took me asking questions about vet references as "hesitation" so they starting interviewing other families. I sent an e-mail back to set up another time to meet the puppy and have yet to hear a single thing back. Basically, they got my hopes up, I was ready to adopt, they were going to give her to me with little information from me, but when I asked for a reference, all contact was severed. That's a sign that somethings not right about this organization, so be CAREFUL!!!
