Comments: This organization is not a reputable rescue. The most important responsibility a rescue has [other than the obvious ... finding GOOD forever homes for rescued pets] is to make SURE that EVERY pet is spayed/neutered prior to adoption - which partially justifies the adoption fee charged and benefits animal welfare. This rescue does NOT spay/neuter all of their pets prior to adoption and therefore I strongly suggest you do not patronize them.

Comments: It's a crying shame what you have done to Ellen and the family who adopted iggy. Shame on you people!! Don't adopt from these people, they only care about how much money they get, not in actually getting good homes!! Bad Bad Bad

Comments: I want to commend you on holding to your adoption agreement!!! I volunteer with a rescue in Pennsylvania. I wish more people could understand that we have the best interest of the dogs in mind, that it is not about money. If they knew how much it cost on average to foster a dog, maybe they would. I think that Ellen D. is giving rescues an unfair reputation. A Rescues job is to find a good FOREVER home, no matter what the persons status is. She's the one that neglected to read what she was signing, and last time I checked that was not an excuse for breaking a contract. If the other family wants to add a dog to their family, why don't they apply for one themselves? Good Luck! Spay & Neuter you Pets! Dont' Shop - Adopt!

Comments: I commend you for wanting to find good loving homes for animals but I feel you handled the situation with Iggy wrong. Why couldn't you have kept Iggy in the home while you checked the home out to make sure it was suitable. NO red tape should get in the way of an animal having a loving home and put back in a shelter. Personally, you seemed more interested in proving a point to someone who is famous then you did about what was best for the dog. You have a tough job I know that but use some common sense, not everything is black and white and bending the rules a little if it is in the animals best interest cannot be a bad thing. GIVE IGGY BACK!!!!
