Peaceful Kingdom Alliance 4 Animals

We are an all volunteer, non-profit 501c3 which was founded in February, 2001. The Peaceful Kingdom Alliance 4 Animals is dedicated to help stop animal abuse and suffering through public education and national awareness. We believe that all animals, as our fellow living creatures, deserve our respect and appreciation and that it is our duty to do our utmost to protect them from harm. It is our sincere desire to do our part, and encourage others as well, to help stop the pet overpopulation problem through spaying and neutering, NOT euthanasia. Our mission is to help homeless and abandoned animals, and those that have been abused, mistreated, or injured, to find shelter, medical help and, at long last, the wonderful new forever homes that they each so richly deserve!

Belleglen Sanctuary

Belleglen Sanctuary is a small non-profit organization that provides sanctuary to disabled and special needs cats. We have cats available for adoption who are former blood donors or who have special physical, health, or psychological needs. Some cats are elderly or have come from abusive or neglectful homes. We are committed to spay/neuter and safe outdoor environment education for cats. Belleglen Sanctuary was supported by volunteer care from a feline blood donor colony, donations from individuals and organizations, adoption fees, and volunteerism. We seek sponsors for each of our sanctuary cats. A sponsor provides for the monthly costs to care for an individual cat and receives a picture and biography of the cat.

APET Rescue & Kennels Inc.

A-PET is strictly a no-kill, rescue shelter! Once an animal comes through our doors, it stays with us until an appropriate home is found for that animal. A-PET boasts over 270 successful adoptions! We never "return" or release an animal to any Animal Control Facility nor do we ever turn an animal over to any other organization that participates in euthanasia. A-PET accepts animals on a space available basis giving priority to the rescue and care of lost, injured, abandoned and/or stray animals from Edwards Animal Control as well as PCS Surrenders. PCS surrenders are those animals that come from military members who have Deployment or PCS Orders and are unable to continue properly caring for their pet(s) due to the Air Force Mission.

SOUNDS OF SILENT SPIRITS RESCUE AND SANCTUARY

We are a small, no-kill, Tax Exempt REPTILE & Exotic Bird Rescue. We receive animals from Sheriff & Fire Dept. Personnel, Veterinarians, BLM, Fish & Game employees and County Animal Control Officers. Some of these animals have been hit by cars or off-road vehicles, maliciously used for target practice, munched by dogs or cats and some have simply been abused or released inhumanely by irresponsible owners. Many of these unfortunate creatures are emaciated from starvation or dehydration, often diseased and, occasionally downright dangerous to handle.
