Used Pets

We are a small collective of idiots who have not figured out how to say the word nnnnnnnno! (to things with fur or feathers) Our mission is to place the discarded, abused, neglected, abandoned (or just plain widowed, by virtue of a death in the family) into even better new homes.

Valley Cats Inc.

We are a no-kill, tax-exempt, nonprofit charitable organization. We are very aware of, and deeply concerned with, the plight of thousands of suffering homeless animals. Valley Cats, Inc. is dedicated to rescuing cats and kittens in need. Our goal is to find loving homes for each and every cat in our care. We make certain that the medical and physical needs of the animals are attended to ~~ vaccinations, spaying, neutering, medication~~whatever is required to help prepare them for adoption. We reach out to the community. We hold open house for school children and their teachers. We also put aside time for people to come in and learn about caring for animals and how to make a responsible pet owner. We are always available to those who have a pet-related problem.

Valley Humane Society

The Valley Humane Society (VHS) was formed in 1985 as a chapter of Pets 'N Pals, Inc. Since that time, the VHS has incorporated on its own. We are a non-profit, non-political organization consisting strictly of volunteers. Our mission is to educate the community on the need for responsible pet ownership, including the spaying and neutering of dogs and cats. We also assist in the rescue and placement of abandoned/stray or injured animals. We support animal welfare in Livermore-Dublin-Pleasanton and surrounding areas, by operating an Adoption Center and Shelter located in downtown Pleasanton. We do not euthanize surrendered or rescued animals, unless health problems dictate.

Valley SPCA

This organization's goals are to educate the public about the high death rate of cats and dogs in this area because of the lack of education about spaying and neutering. We are a no kill shelter that pulls animals from our local animal controls and abandoned animals. We also take animals from owners, adults which they must show proof of spaying in order for us to take their puppies. Come Visit Us!

Volunteers for Inter-Valley Animals

We have operated an adoption center in Lompoc for the past 20 years. Right now, we have almost 150 cats in residence. While we hope that many will be adopted into loving homes, those cats who aren't adopted will live their lives in a safe, comfortable, cat-friendly environment.
