Animal Matters

Animal Matters is a not-for-profit organization that was established in 1998 with the goal of educating the general public on the use and abuse of animals. We focus on the inherent link between what we eat, wear and use to the well-being of our animal friends, our health and our environment. We attempt to achieve this goal by producing and distributing educational materials (including Animal Matters Online) to people who have never had the chance to learn of the cruelty to which animals are subjected and how this affects them and their society. WE DO NOT HAVE A FACILITY FOR PETS. WE NOW ACT ONLY AS A REOSOURCE FOR HOMELESS ANIMALS -- MATCHING THEM TO LOVING HOMES.

10th Life Sanctuary, Inc.

Our mission is to give people who are unable to continue caring for their cats, and who have been unable to place their cats with friends, relatives, or no-kill adoption groups a sanctuary where their cats will receive a lifetime of love and care. Instead of having these usually healthy animals euthanized, we take them. We normally charge $400 per adult cat to admit it into the sanctuary. When we can afford to do so, we waive the admission fee. Knowing that their cat will continue living, creates an emotional often tearful release of joy for these people. These animals come from a wide variety of circumstances: from people who are about to die, from people who can no longer afford to care for their cat, from people who have to move into housing that doesnt allow pets, from people who have been feeding feral cats and can no longer do so, etc.

Feline Friends

Feline Friends, your first choice in South Florida for quality cat adoptions. Visit our animal shelter located on the border of Broward County and Palm Beach County. Our Mission Statement: Our mission is to provide a permanent home for homeless and abandoned cats. We medicate, vaccinate , test for disease, spay/neuter, socialize and prepare all cats for adoption into properly screened homes. If adoption is not feasible, we keep the cat safe and healthy within the shelter for the balance of its natural life. Feline Friends is a 100% volunteer, non-profit, 501c3 organization. Our purpose is to uphold and strengthen our portion of the "safety net." This net is the No Kill-No More Homeless Pets movement that is slowly but surely spreading across our nation. We strive to put an end to the killing of adoptable healthy cats in our area by facilitating sterilization, increasing education, and doing adoptions.

Stray No More

About Us Stray No More is a 501(c) 3 Volunteer Organization dedicated to reducing the number of animals euthanized in Palm Beach County, Florida through our Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program, Education and Adoption of rescued stray animals. Co-founded in July 1994, Stray No More is run completely by volunteers, 99% of those who work full time jobs. Donated money is tax deductible and 100% goes to benefit the animals, not people! We do not have a shelter. The rescued dogs, cats, puppies and kittens live in foster homes. We conduct extensive interviews, and home visits before an animal can be adopted. Our adoption fee of $81.25 for dogs, and $61.25 for cats includes Spay/Neuter, vaccinations, tests, deworming, heartworm and flea prevention while in foster care, microchip and microchip registration!
