Purrfect Paws RescueOur small group of experienced animal rescue volunteers recognized the need to address the friendly stray population living on the streets. We provide a number of services that can not be found at just any shelter. We pick up stray animals, we offer a low cost spay neuter program, we have live traps for rent, we sell county dog licenses, we offer lost and found services, and animal cruelty investigations as well as many other public services. If you are interested in employing any of our services, feel free to call us 7 days a week from 10 am to 3 pm. We are dedicated to saving as many animals as we can. We hope to find them loving permanent new homes that they can enjoy and where they can enrich the lives of the people who adopt them. Spay and SaveSpay and Save is a nonprofit organization, classified under Section 501(c)(3) by the IRS. We are volunteers dedicated to animals and the people who help animals. We have been in operation since 1981, and serve Philadelphia and the five county area. We provide low cost neuter/spay certificates to those in need. We also provide help to elderly or handicapped people who are unable to help their own pets, offering transportation to the vet and furnishing food from our food bank. We also place many abandoned dogs and cats. Our volunteers are constantly working to place animals in adoptive loving homes through advertising and word of mouth. Our program even extends to the remote areas of Chester and Bucks County horsebarns.
