We will provide companions that are healthy and compatible for those persons meeting the requirements set forth in our adoption agreement. In order to address the pet overpopulation problem the Lyons Den Rescue also commits to having all animals spayed or neutered before placement unless a spay/neuter contract is in place (only for puppies too young to have a spay/neuter). Northampton Borough Animal ShelterWe are open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6:30 until 9:00, Wednesday 6:00-8:00, and Saturday 12:00-4:00. Here at the NBAS we do not euthanize cats or dogs. All animals brought in are tested by our local vet. At the NBAS our cat population is extremely large. P. A. L. S. Pet Adoption and Lifecare SocietyFounded 1996 by Dr. Jacqueline Metzler, the Pet Adoption and Lifecare Society received non-profit status in January 2000. Since then, we have placed hundreds of cats and dogs into loving homes every year. Our animals are temporarily loved and cared for in foster homes until permanent homes can be found. All of our cats are FeLV/FIV negative unless otherwise noted under special needs. They are adopted out free of parasites, including fleas and internal parasites. They have also had all vaccines for which they are eligible.
