Wags and Whiskers Animal Animal Adoption CenterWags and Whiskers Animal Adoption Center, Inc. was just started in August due to the need in this county for help with the unwanted pet population. We are currently utilizing foster families to care for animals rather than them having to be euthanized. We are planning fund raisers in hopes of one day building a new facility to house these animals until they can be adopted out to loving families. Whiskers Rescue & Adoption IncFounded in 1995 by Lew Christy and Connie Haun (father & daughter )and incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 1998, Whiskers Rescue & Adoption, Inc. has found responsible homes for hundreds of cats (somewhere around 500).The cats have total freedom, no cages to be confined in, and they are one big happy family! Newcomers are quarantined until they are tested for FeLV and FIV and then are socialized under supervision with the other cats. They all get along great like a big family.
