Converse Animal Shelter Inc.The Converse Animal Shelter, Inc is a non-profit organization that was begun in 1979. All funds are used for the benefit of the animals. 18,000 helpless, abandoned, unwanted, sick and lost animals have come through its gate. The shelter's goals are to provide the local area with a humane facility in order to care for unwanted, abused and abandoned animals until such animals can be placed in suitable adoptive homes.
