PAWS Protective Animal Welfare Society of Western WIOur purpose is to reduce the stray population and increase the need for healthy animal adoptions through spay/neuter programs, education, and promotion of respect for the less fortunate animals that share out lives. We provide people in our community who would not otherwise have their pets altered with financial assistance for spay and neuter procedures. We are foster-based. We put lost, homeless pets in loving homes for safe shelter, care, rehabilitation, and love until a permanent home is found. We provide educational programs to schools, libraries, and groups to teach children the proper care and treatment of animals. Two Left Paws Animal SanctuaryTwo Left Paws Animal Sanctuary is made up of a group of volunteers dedicated to rescuing and placing abandoned and unwanted animals. Most members of our group have at one time or another been volunteers with other organziations and have since joined together to form Two Left Paws. We believe in homeless animals being cared for in a setting other than cages or kennels; this is less stressful on the animal. We need your help to pay our bills and keep the shelter running to help the animals. We border Minnesota, 65 miles south of Lake Superior and 75 miles north of the Twin Cities. The shelter is located at 7347 Midtown Road, Siren WI 54872. Our phone number is 715-866-4096. Hours are noon to 5 Tuesday through Saturday, we are closed Sunday, Monday and holidays.
