Animal Welfare Society of Bandera County TexasThe Animal Welfare Society of Bandera County, Texas rescues animals from the local animal control, Boerne Animal Control, and from the public. We are dedicated to helping stray and abandoned animals and reducing the unwanted pet population through early spay/neuter. Our mission is to provide temporary shelter for abandoned animals and educate the public regarding animal welfare and cruelty issues. The need is so great throughout San Antonio and the outlying areas that AWS has expanded to include Kendall & Bexar counties in rescues.
