German Shepherd Rescue of Sacramento Valley

German Shepherd Rescue of Sacramento Valley (GSRSV) is an independent organization dedicated to finding good homes for German Shepherds and German Shepherd mixes whose owners can no longer keep them or which are confined in animal shelters. My selection of dogs is limited due to the fact that I (Brian Foran) run and fund this organization by myself. I am always seeking foster caretakers

Contra Costa Humane Society

Thousands of unwanted and unplanned animals are born into Contra Costa County each year without the guarantee of a forever home. Each home found for these animals means one less home for a shelter animal facing euthanasia. Thousands of animals are put to sleep each year in Contra Costa County because there simply aren't enough homes. You can help to stop this destruction. PLEASE spay, neuter, adopt and spread the word!

Tri-Valley Animal Rescue

Our Mission: Tri-Valley Animal Rescue, Inc. (TVAR) is a non-profit charitable organization run solely by volunteers dedicated to placing homeless animals. TVAR is the only authorized group for the East County Animal Shelter (ECAS, formerly known as the Santa Rita Animal Shelter). Through the commitment of our volunteers, TVAR works to ensure services such as: rescuing adoptable and/or treatable animals at risk at the ECAS and placing them in our foster program; providing volunteers at the ECAS by interfacing with the general public and helping with animal care; providing low cost spay/neuter programs; educating the public about spaying/neutering and responsible pet ownership; administering vaccinations to shelter animals; securing donations and contributions; and matching suitable, responsible new owners with the animals through adoption events.

East of Eden Canine Rescue

We are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation, but we remain a tiny but mighty rescue located in Central CA. We are dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of homeless canines. At present, our foster program focuses on Labs and Lab mixes, but we try to provide assistance to every dog in need. We have developed a wide network of support throughout Northern California, and have been extremely successful to date. We welcome creative solutions to the problem of canine homelessness

Valley Humane Society

The Valley Humane Society (VHS) was formed in 1985 as a chapter of Pets 'N Pals, Inc. Since that time, the VHS has incorporated on its own. We are a non-profit, non-political organization consisting strictly of volunteers. Our mission is to educate the community on the need for responsible pet ownership, including the spaying and neutering of dogs and cats. We also assist in the rescue and placement of abandoned/stray or injured animals. We support animal welfare in Livermore-Dublin-Pleasanton and surrounding areas, by operating an Adoption Center and Shelter located in downtown Pleasanton. We do not euthanize surrendered or rescued animals, unless health problems dictate.
