Rileys Ark

Riley's Ark is located in Harrison County, Indiana. Animal control in this county is often "if it doesn't belong on your property, shoot it." Due to a health issue at our home, we are no longer able to accept new rescues. We still need to find homes for the kitties we have and we are more than happy to facilitate adoptions by posting your cat or dog on our site and doing the transporting and screening of potential adopters

Rock Rescue

ROCK Rescue was formed to rescue and help animals from the local humane society and private referrals. The rescue was originally started by one of our members that painted rocks with portraits of animals and sold them to raise money to pay for the expense of helping needy animals. That is how we came up with our rescue’s name. Later two more members joined in the group. All three of us are also members on the board of directors for the Marion/Grant County Humane Society, in Marion, Indiana.

Rocky Road Rescue

I am a very small rescue that accepts animals that are in dire need of a temporary foster home. The cats and dogs I take are out of time due to owner neglect, abandonment, surrender or just for being one of the millions of animals that have been discarded for one reason or another

South Bend Animal Care & Control

South Bend Animal Care and Control is a division of the Department of Code Enforcement, City of South Bend, Indiana. Our adoption facility is located at 105 S. Olive St., in the old fire station across from the Olive St. post office. Adoption and breed rescue activities are supplemented by a small group of volunteers who provide foster care for SBACC pets in their own homes. SBACC is a non-profit, municipal organization. Donations to SBACC are tax deductible and go directly towards the care of South Bend's homeless animals and not back to the City.
