Pitt County Humane Society, INCThe Humane Society in Eastern North Carolina was established over 20 years ago to protect animals from cruelty and abuse. It was designed not only to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets but also to act as a resource and service to the community of Pitt County. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of over breeding of dogs and cats and teach owners how to be responsible pet owners.
