Spay and SaveSpay and Save is a nonprofit organization, classified under Section 501(c)(3) by the IRS. We are volunteers dedicated to animals and the people who help animals. We have been in operation since 1981, and serve Philadelphia and the five county area. We provide low cost neuter/spay certificates to those in need. We also provide help to elderly or handicapped people who are unable to help their own pets, offering transportation to the vet and furnishing food from our food bank. We also place many abandoned dogs and cats. Our volunteers are constantly working to place animals in adoptive loving homes through advertising and word of mouth. Our program even extends to the remote areas of Chester and Bucks County horsebarns.
