WISCONSIN BORDER COLLIE RESCUE

Wisconsin Border Collie Rescue is the effort of a dedicated group of individuals who love the breed and are concerned about the growing number of unwanted Border Collies within the midwest. Our purpose is to take in the stray and the unwanted Border Collies and find them homes where they are loved and understood. It is our responsibility to give back and to help those Border Collies who would otherwise fall to the wayside. All of the Border Collies in our care are spay/neutered, heartworm tested and current on vaccinations. During the heartworm season they are on heartworm preventative. When possible, the dogs are also microchipped. During the time that they are with us, they are housetrained, and taught their basic manners. When possible, we will crate train and teach the dogs what we can to give them the best chance for a happy life with their new family.

Central Wisconsin Vizslas Club Rescue

The CWVC has been involved with breed rescue for approximately 8 years. During that time our program has developed and changed, through our own experiences and those of other clubs, to its current status. At this time, we only rescue purebred Vizslas. Frankly, lack of money and peoplepower does not allow us to do otherwise.

Wisconsin Chihuahua Rescue, Inc.

We, at Wisconsin Chihuahua Rescue, do promise to take owner-surrendered, stray, abandoned, shelter or other homeless dogs, into our care at our discretion. No dogs will be accepted who are aggressive, or, whom we feel will cause harm to their new family or another animal. All dogs in our care will be evaluated as to temperament and health and all will be given a combination vaccine, rabies vaccine, and heartworm test and will be spayed or neutered. All Wisconsin Chihuahua Rescue dogs will be given every attention while in our care. Our goal is to unite these dogs with a family whom they will live with for the rest of their lives. We, at Wisconsin Chihuahua Rescue, do promise to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering so as to reduce the occurrence of abandoned dogs in the state of Wisconsin. We do not work with breeders and do not promote the buying and selling of animals through any source other than a humane society or breed rescue group. Country Animal Haven

We are a non-profit, no-kill animal rescue and shelter, located on eight acres of land just north of Stoughton, Wisconsin. Our mission is to provide a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves and a safe haven for animals while they await permanent loving homes. Country Animal Haven was established in September of 2000. Since that time, over 1300 cats, kittens, dogs, puppies and other animals have passed through our doors. Some remain at the shelter in life-long care, but most have found new families and new lives. Country Animal Haven endeavors to be a strong presence in the community, working to increase awareness of animal issues. We strongly advocate spaying and neutering of both feral and pet cats to reduce the overabundance of unwanted kittens and improve the general health of adult cats. We hope for the day when all animals will know what it means to be wanted, loved and cared for. Country Animal Haven is the only alternative, cage-free no-kill shelter and sanctuary in the area.
