Tx Ferret Lovers RescueWe take in ALL ferrets regardless of age or condition. We are no kill unless the animal is in a helpless painful condition, otherwise all ferrets receive up to date vaccinations, microchipping, and medical/surgical treatment necessary. We have foster homes of not over 6 or 7 ferrets where those over 5 are placed to live out their lives with our paying all medical needs. In addition, we are proud to be a part of the Town Lake Animal Shelter’s Rescue Transfer Program. Often ferret owners find that they can no longer care for their ferret and the ferret is surrendered to the shelter. We also receive calls from individuals who find a stray ferret wandering in their yard. When this happens, every effort is made to find the ferret’s owner.
