Pound Kitten and Cat RescuePound Puppy Animal Rescue was originally set-up to find homes for unwanted, abandoned and stray puppies. Many of these would be breeders rejects. We have since expanded our operation to include homeless dogs, cats, kittens and occasionally other animals. Little Valley Animal ShelterLittle Valley Animal Shelter is owned by the Exeter, East & West Devon Branch of the RSPCA and is situated on the outskirts of Exeter surrounded by 21 acres of unspoiled countryside. The Shelter was built in July 1991 to care for unwanted, abandoned and cruelly treated animals. It can accommodate dogs, cats, horses, goats and a variety of domestic animals such as rabbits, rodents and aviary birds. BANBURY ANIMAL RESCUE AND KINDNESS SERVICE (B.A.R.K.S.)Registered Charity no. 1064556 Covering: North Oxfordshire & parts of Bucks, Northants & Warks. Banbury Animal Rescue & Kindness Service is a volunteer run animal rescue & re-homing organisation covering North Oxfordshire & parts of Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire & Warwickshire. They take in stray & unwanted cats, kittens, rabbits & guinea pigs and find them good, caring, approved homes. The animals are cared for by fosterers until approved homes are found for them. Prospective adopters are subject to a home visit and once approved an appointment to visit the foster homes to view and hopefully adopt one or more of the cats or kittens available, can be arranged. The adoption fees are £40 for a cat and £35 for a kitten, (a £15 non-refundable deposit is required if you wish to reserve a cat or kitten). It costs approximately £30,000 per year to run the foster homes but with no grants or funding, all costs are covered by adoption fees, donations & fundraising.
