Little Orphan Animals, IncLittle Orphan Animals, Inc. offers pet "matchmaking" and helps people find their special someone through specialized Internet marketing and aggressive networking. Working with other shelter groups and foster care networks, transitional care for displaced, convalescing and other special-needs pets may be found. Little Orphan Animals, Inc. also works with independent rescue workers, helping them locate equipment, food and medical resources in their own area. LITTLE ORPHAN ANIMALS, Inc. is primarily a referral organization. We do NOT have shelter facilities at this time. We work with private parties, retailers, shelters, foster homes, pet transport services, law enforcement, and others to facilitate the coordination of services. Rabbit AdvocatesRabbit Advocates is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose volunteers specialize in educating the public about the care of domestic rabbits. We aim to place surrendered or abandoned rabbits in loving homes where they will be welcomed as family members. Formerly a part of the Oregon Humane Society, in 2002 we created a group solely devoted to promoting the welfare of domestic rabbits. The Rabbit Advocates operate an education and adoption website as well as two help lines; one through the Oregon Humane Society and one on our own. We hold rabbit adoption outreach events and other activities at locations around the Portland Metro Area and hold monthly meetings at Oregon Humane Society.
