All dogs entering our program are spayed/neutered, vaccinations updated, bordatella, heartworm/erlichia/lyme checked and treated if positive, and any other medical problems that we are aware of are taken care of by a liscensed vetinarian in the state of Texas.

In 1987, the Sanger Area Humane Society was formed to rescue stray cats and dogs. Since that time we have expanded into animal control, a cat spay and neuter adoption program, and wild animal rescue. Our main concern is the welfare of the injured, stray, surrendered animals in our area.
