Great Lakes Lab RescueAll dogs live in a foster home where they are given time to settle in. Based on what is observed in the foster home, the dog will then be placed in the most appropriate adoptive home. Basic obedience, crate training, housebreaking or reinforcing housebreaking, as well as socializing with other dogs, are among the functions of the foster home. We currently have a very limited amount of foster homes, therefore homeless shelter labs take first priority.
