Animal Rescue FundSome ARF Facts: * ARF was founded in 1998 out of a profound love and respect for animals and a desire to end needless death and suffering. * ARF is a "no kill" shelter meaning that every healthy, adoptable animal is guaranteed a home. We do not euthanize because of age, breed, or illness. Animals are given any medical care needed- treated for heartworm, broken legs repaired, and all are spayed or neutered. * The ARF Animal House provides shelter to rescued animals until suitable homes can be found. Some animals have been at ARF 2 years before getting a home. During their stay at ARF, animals aren't kept in crates or kennels. Each animal is paired with similar sized animals and share a room equipped with a toddler bed, toys, and most have a window to look out. While humans are there, they are free to roam around the house not confined to their rooms! * ARF is funded 100% through donations as a private, non-profit organization.1209 W.
