For the Love of PetsWe are a small group of animal lovers in Southern Ohio. Unfortunately, we can't afford to pay to file for non-profit 501(c)3 status at this time and receive no government grants or charity donations (we pay for the animal care out of our paychecks). We rescue dogs from local dog pounds who are on death row through no fault of their own and we will also pick up stray pets running along the busy roads and search for their owners (usually, no owner is ever found). We have these pets fully vetted and spayed/neutered. Joanie's Lil K9 Sanctuary and PlacementWe work to place Puppy Mill Survivors in forever homes. These dogs come out of the most horrible situations there are on the planet--mass-breeding facilities! These dogs are usually under-socialized, in poor health and have never known the comforts of a sofa or an easy chair.
