Schertz Animal ServicesSchertz Animal Shelter is a city based adoption facility. We have 18 dog adoption kennels, 22 dog holding kennels, and 4 dog quarantine kennels. We also have 9 cat adoption kennels, 11 cat holding kennels, and 2 cat quarantine kennels. We have wonderful relationships with several Rescue Groups and Organizations in our area that strongly support providing forever homes for our pets. We have 5 full time employees, and are open 7 days a week. Schetz Humane SocietyThe Schertz Humane Society is a non-profit corporation dedicated to rescue and improving the lives of companion animals in Schertz, and other areas in Texas. We provide foster care and facilitate adoptions of homeless pets, many of which come from area city animal control facilities, and provide community education about responsible pet ownership.
