We are an independent organisation and not associated with the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (R.S.P.C.A.) in Australia. This means the Society's work is funded by the general public, with only a $10,000 grant per annum from the Maroochy Shire Council. No other government grants are received, so the general public is our lifeline. We don't kill animals because they're unlucky enough to be homeless. We provide what others cannot. We care.
