Cats Protection is a national charitable organisation founded in 1927.
It is Britain's oldest charity solely for the welfare of cats.
Coventry Branch was founded in 1954 by six local volunteers. The Branch cares for between 50 and 100 cats and kittens at any one time until they can be placed in new homes. All these cats and kittens are looked after by foster parents, who are all volunteers. We currently have around 200 members.

Based in the Scottish Borders, covering the area bound by South Edinburgh, Carstairs, Moffat and Galashiels, taking in postcode areas ML12, EH26, 43, 44, 45, 46, DG10 and TD1.
The Peebles & Biggar Branch rehomes around 150 cats and kittens every year. As they cover a large, mainly rural area, they help many farm cats, including neutering and returning feral cats, as well as re-homing strays. Apart from a discretionary grant from HQ at the beginning of each year, the branch is completely self-funding. Public support at coffee mornings, open days, street collections, card sales etc, is invaluable, please support them if you are in the area.
