Maxicare Dog Rehoming CentreMaxicare is an appeal launched by Animals in Need. We take stray and unwanted dogs from 'Death Row' and save them from destruction. The dogs are kept until the right home comes along and no dog is ever destroyed, unless on veterinary advice. The kennels we use offer the best possible care for the dogs while they are with us. Prior to a dog being adopted, a home visit is always made to prospective owners, and an appointment is essential before viewing the dogs. MAYHEW ANIMAL HOMERegistered Charity no. 1077588 The Mayhew is a small, independent animal rescue centre based in NW London. They have been rescuing and caring for the abandoned, abused and unwanted animals of London since 1886. One of the biggest catteries in the UK, The Mayhew provides home to 200 cats, 15 rabbits and 15 dogs at any one time. Apart from adopting or fostering an animal in need, there are many other ways you can support The Home, such as sponsoring an animal in care, leaving them money in your will, applying for a Mayhew affiliate credit card, attending seasonal fundraising events, running the marathon or making a donation.
