SNIP - SOCIETY to NEUTER ISLINGTON'S PUSSIESSNIP is a registered charity, which aims to protect, control and assist the stray and feral cat population of the Islington area by neutering and returning feral cats, and homing kittens and tame strays. Veterinary treatment is given where necessary. SNIP encourages respect and tolerance of free-living cats through education and advice, and promotes the neutering of domestic cats, thereby reducing the number of unwanted animals. SNIP is run entirely by unpaid volunteers, and does not have a shelter but uses fosterers who look after the cats in their own homes. It is SNIP’s policy to respect life ~ no healthy cats are destroyed.
