Flora's Pet Project

Flora's Pet Project is a 501(c)(3) charity, run entirely by volunteers and devoted to animal welfare. We are a foster home-based operation, and each pet offered for adoption through Flora's Pet Project, including every kitten and every puppy, has been neutered, vaccinated and tested for heartworm (dogs) or feline leukemia/AIDS (cats) prior to adoption. We also perform any medical procedures and provide any medications which the pet might require--everything from amputations to zithromax. These vet services are funded by tax-deductible donations to Flora's Pet Project

Friends of New Haven Animal Shelter

We are the Friends of the New Haven Animal Shelter, a group of volunteers dedicated to helping find responsible, loving homes for the animals in our care. We hope to make the New Haven Animal Shelter the first place residents think of when they decide to adopt an animal. Most of the pets listed on our web site are at the New Haven Animal Shelter; a few are being fostered by volunteers or by friends until they find permanent homes.
