| The Hancock County Humane Society is a no-kill*, non-profit animal shelter. This shelter has been in existance for many years and has always been staffed entirely by volunteers and funded entirely on donations from the local community. It is our goal to find permanent safe and loving homes for the pets in our care. We would also like to promote community education and awareness. It cannot be stressed enough the importance of early spay/neuter of a pet. We simply cannot keep up with the rate of over-population in cats and dogs on our own and must have the support of the entire community if we are ever to eliminate this problem. Additionally, we would like to stress the importance of a pet wearing I.D.. This can be in the form of a collar with a tag, a microchip implanted by your veterinarian or both. A lost pet is most likely to be returned to its home if it is wearing I.D.. Please note that we are NOT part of the county Animal Care and Control Shelter but are a completely separate shelter.
*No-kill meaning healthy pets with good temperaments are kept until adopted no matter how many years it may take. We do first attempt to treat unhealthy pets whenever possible. 214 E Main St, Greenfield IN US Ph:(317)462-5404

	| Happy Labs Rescue is a organization of volunteers who rescue Labrador Retrievers. Our dogs come from shelters, owners who no longer can, or will, provide for them and, all too often, strays that are never searched for. We evaluate the dogs' health and temperament and place the Labs with new adoptive families. The rescued Lab goes directly to a veterinarian for a spay/neuter, vaccinations and any other necessary medical treatment. Many of these Labs have been neglected, not only in a nutritional/medical sense, but also in a psychological/emotional sense. This socialization process promotes the dog's confidence, willingness to learn and trust. For many Labs, this is the first love and kindness they have ever known. | Hoosier Great Dane Rescue, official affiliate of the Great Dane Club of America, is an organization dedicated to the placement of neglected, abandoned, or otherwise unwanted Great Danes into loving and permanent homes. Before placement, all Great Danes are spayed/neutered (no exceptions), current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm preventive, and free of any other parasites. Temperaments are evaluated to be sure the dogs can and will become good family members. New adoptive families receive any available medical history, including dates of all vaccinations. New adoptive families are required to sign an adoption contract agreeing that their new Dane will be kept indoors as a housepet, and agreeing that they accept all responsibility for their new pet. Hoosier Great Dane Rescue is funded by adoption fees and donations. 100% of the adoption fee goes directly to offset medical expenses, as well as costs for food, paperwork, phone calls, ads to help place dogs, etc. 6672 E US Hwy 136, Crawfordsville IN US 47933 Ph:(765)362-3239
