Sundog Animal SanctuarySundog is Southeast Missouri's first "No-Kill" animal sanctuary. Although we primarily work with cats right now, we are beginning to expand into dogs. We are a non-profit organization run by volunteers. Our main facility is a 40' x 60' building built on 16 acres, which houses between 80 and 85 cats at any given time. The "cat house", as we call it, has 3 large main rooms that are airconditioned and heated. The felines are allowed to roam in a free range environment and even have access by pet doors to a screened in back porch filled with cat walks, and a tree house. It really is a kitty cat paradise that is a wonderful place for them to stay until we place them with loving family.
