We are a small, all volunteer-run, no-kill animal shelter in Albany, New York. Our mission is to provide abandoned, abused, and stray animals with a place of comfort, safety, and health and ultimately find them loving, responsible, permanent homes. We specialize in helping animals that have no advocate, those that have been abandoned on the streets or who have been abused. Woof WagonThe Woof Wagon is a private rescue with one person responsible for the funding and organization of the rescue. I started out as a transport coordinator with a group of volunteers. Over time, I have started doing animal adoptions on a small scale with the help of volunteers willing to foster the dogs and cats. YONKERS ANIMAL SHELTERWe are a municipal shelter run by the City of Yonkers. We are open daily Monday through Friday 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM and Saturday, Sunday and Holidays from 12:00 noon to 3:30 PM. We are interested in finding permanent homes for all of our pets. These animals are asking for a chance to show you their affection and love. If you are interested in a pet please give our animals a chance. Potential adopters are required to fill out our pre-adoption form. You can do this at the shelter or, if you want to speed up the process, download it here and complete it before you visit us. All animals will be spayed/neutered through the adoption fee.
