Saving Paws Animal Rescue

Saving Paws Animal Rescue Inc. is newly formed nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless, abandoned and special needs animals in Northeast Wisconsin and finding new adoptive homes or providing lifelong sanctuary for them; we also seek to decrease the number of unwanted animals and the amount of animal cruelty in our community through outreach and education. We are completely volunteer-run and 100% of donations go directly to the care of the animals.

Lost Companion

The Lost Companion (TLC) came together in the summer of 2006, when a group of women saw the need to help a feral (wild) cat population in the village of Wild Rose, in central Wisconsin. To help these cats, a nonprofit organization was set up using the guidelines of Allied Cat Allies, an organization which has advocated for nonlethal methods (TNR) to reduce outdoor cat populations, for over a decade.

Last Resort Specialty Cat Rescue

We are a very small rescue operation, generally taking in only one or two cats at a time. We specialize in abused or abandoned purebreds who need intensive one-on-one nursing and psychological rehabilitation before being rehomed. Because our rescues have suffered horrible abuse, we are extremely particular about the homes they go to

Place To Bark

We are a privately run rescue, specializing in retraining & rehoming animals in need. We work with the local humane societies in Milwakee, Chicago and Tennessee. We are not a shelter, but a rescue run out of our homes. Working with only a small number of animals, we try to provide the best training and placement possible. ALL animals are fixed, current on shots, microchipped, heartworm tested and if from out of state have current health certificates

Fluffy Dog Rescue

Fluffy Dog Rescue was founded by one woman who had a desire to save a few dogs lives if she could. We have evolved into a trio of women and an extended group of foster homes and we continue the dream of saving lives that would otherwise be lost to no fault of their own.

Hundenruhe Haven Senior Dog Sanctuary

Hundenruhe Haven Senior Dog Sanctuary is primarily a hospice and permanent sanctuary for the animals that find a home here. However, we do occasionally rehabilitate pets and find them new forever homes. We accept dogs from other rescues that are 12+ years old (sometimes a little younger) and they live with us in our home (not in kennels), safe and loved, until they pass away. At this time, we do not accept dogs from private parties.

Tail Waggers 911

We are a group of fun people who simply love dogs. It took a lot of thinking about how could we make a difference in being a rescue. There are many rescues but how could we stand out. We decided the best way is to find the nicest, sweetest dogs who just need a home. We are not breed or age specific. We are not even specific on who the adopter could be. We just knew if we had a potential adopter fill out an application, complete a home visit and get to know them we could find them a perfect dog for their home.

Two Left Paws Animal Sanctuary

Two Left Paws Animal Sanctuary is made up of a group of volunteers dedicated to rescuing and placing abandoned and unwanted animals. Most members of our group have at one time or another been volunteers with other organziations and have since joined together to form Two Left Paws. We believe in homeless animals being cared for in a setting other than cages or kennels; this is less stressful on the animal. We also believe that euthanasia should only be for those animals that are terminally ill and suffering or for those that have behavioral problems/issues that cannot be rehabilitated with treatment.
