Wyoming Aussie Rescue does not place dogs for any breeding purposes whatsoever. Wyoming Aussie Rescue does not place dogs for any kind of guard duty, home, or business. Dogs are placed in carefully screened homes through the use of specific rules and procedures. Aussies in need of new homes from nearby states are listed as well. Aussie mixes and other herding breed needing new homes are listed. Animal Humane Association of Star ValleyRight now, we are a group of volunteers, working out of our homes trying to help the local community care for it's pets. We have a good spay/neuter program in operation that financially assists some pet owners with veterinary expenses. Our adoption program is based on networking, being that we do not have a shelter. We have several volunteers that have a revolving doors continually fostering and placing pets. When an animal comes into our care, we have it spayed or neutered and throroughly examined by one of our local veterinarians at which time, it will receive the recommended shots. (P.A.W.S.) is a small non-profit organization in Platte County, Wyoming, dedicated to the safety and comfort of its four-legged residents. Our Mission is to encourage spaying and neutering and to provide education, placement, transportation, advice, and ideas to promote the welfare and well being of all animals in Platte County. Since our inception, P.A.W.S. has become the first resource to contact to have a pet spayed or neutered, to find a missing pet, to place an unwanted pet, to rescue a stray or injured animal, or to adopt a new companion. In addition to providing rescue and placement services, we offer a variety of community activities to assist the public in solving problems with their pets, including Canine Obedience Training Classes.
