Halfway Home Rescue, Inc.

Halfway Home Rescue Inc.'s mission is to focus on the welfare and placement of abused, abandoned, and stray cats. Our initial goal was to provide an additional place for homeless animals when other shelters were too full to help. Along with our "sister" organizations, we work to promote spay/neuter and to assist with Trap/Neuter/Return of feral cats. Since January 1st of this year, over 250 cats and half dozen dogs passed through Halfway Home Rescue Inc. on their way to forever homes or back to their feral colonies as part of a Trap/Neuter/Return program. Every animal looking for a home is spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, tested negative for Feline AIDS & Leukemia, treated for internal/external parasites and ready for a new home. No animal is ever euthanized for lack of space. Except in cases of terminal illness or extreme behavioral issues, all animals are here until they find forever homes.
