PAWS Protective Animal Welfare Society of Western WIOur purpose is to reduce the stray population and increase the need for healthy animal adoptions through spay/neuter programs, education, and promotion of respect for the less fortunate animals that share out lives. We provide people in our community who would not otherwise have their pets altered with financial assistance for spay and neuter procedures. We are foster-based. We put lost, homeless pets in loving homes for safe shelter, care, rehabilitation, and love until a permanent home is found. We provide educational programs to schools, libraries, and groups to teach children the proper care and treatment of animals. Our mission is to place our birds in proper homes. We are dedicated to finding new permanent homes for lost birds, unwanted birds, disabled or injured birds, pet birds whose owners can no longer provide a suitable home, breeder birds, and some sick birds. Too often birds are released or destroyed because their owners know of no other solution. Any healthy bird should have the option to live.
