Raining Cats and Dogs, Inc.The majority of our rescue animals are emergency cases: They have been rescued days before euthanasia at animal control, or have been taken in emaciated and covered in mange as strays, or even rescued from cars nearly hitting them. Some were even rescued from the effects of dangerous hurricanes. Unfortunately, we are currently NOT taking in any new rescues due to lack of space and finances. We bring our dogs to PETsMART on Glades and 441 in Boca Raton. We have a representative there Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4 pm. Raining Cats and Dogs will gladly come to you if you are interested in a specific dog. A New Beginning Pet Care & Rescue, Inc.We primarily rescue animals that are on death row at local Animal Control agencies to save the lives of the animals. The kittens / cats we offer for adoption come from many different walks of life and are now in need of Loving and Caring Forever Homes. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens have been combo tested (negative) for Leukemia and AIDS, spayed / neutered, given at least their first vaccination (possibly even their second if they are old enough), been dewormed, and - if old enough - have had their rabies vaccination. Street Cat SanctuaryThe Street Cat Sanctuary, Inc. has been doing rescue in our community for more than nine years. The organization was started by Debbie after she started feeding homeless cats living on the streets at fast food restaurants. Every night Debbie went out on the streets to feed these homeless cats in rain or cold. Many wonderful and the most beautiful cats adopted have come from this very situation. The cats have not asked to be dumped by an owner who no longer wanted the burden of owning a pet nor to born into that type of life; its not their fault. So she started Street Cat Sanctuary, Inc. When a little puppy came along and no one would even take him for free the cat rescue went to the dogs. The little ugly duckling turned into a beautiful swan known as Murphy and became Debbie's first dog in 27 years. She believes all cats, dogs, and other pets deserve a chance at life and to have a home of their own. We are not accepting pets into the shelter at this time.
