All About Animals

What does All About Animals Rescue do? In the simplest of terms, we save lives. Saving lives takes on many forms, one of them is bottle feeding infant kittens.

Allegan County Animal Shelter

The Allegan County Animal Shelter is a small shelter in a rural area. Sadly, the shelter does need to regularly euthanize in order to make room for new animals that come in almost daily. We would rather see every adoptable pet be adopted into a loving home.

Alley Cat Angels

A non-profit TNR group made up of local volunteers dedicated to reducing the suffering of homeless cats and kittns through TNR. Founded in July 2002, in hopes of reducing the overwhelming number of stray cats who roam our city and surrounding areas. We have chosen trap-neuter-return (TNR) as our means of accomplishing this seemingly impossible task. Studies have shown this program to be much more effective and humane than euthanasia, because the cats can reproduce quicker than they can be taken away. Alley Cat Angels has been honored with the Humane Society-Calhoun Area “Humanitarian Award for the last 2 years.

Almost Home Animal Rescue League

Almost Home Animal Rescue League is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to finding loving forever homes for homeless animals. We are strongly against the senseless act of euthanasia of adoptable animals and are continuously striving to make euthanasia a thing of the past. We are made up of a group of dedicated volunteers, without them, Almost Home Animal Rescue League would not exist. We do not have a shelter and rely on our foster families to temporarily house our animals. Ultimately, our greatest dream come true would be to build a shelter........A "REAL" no-kill shelter.
