Florence Area Humane Society

The Florence Area Humane Society, located in Florence, Oregon, is made up of volunteers dedicated to assisting homeless or abused companion animals in our area. We also seek to educate people about such animal-related issues as cruelty and pet overpopulation. Our operating budget, which includes no tax dollars, is derived primarily from donations and the profits of our Bay Street Thrift Shop. Additional budget sources include fund-raisers, grants, and member dues.

Timmieland Rescue

Timmieland Rescue is not a 501c3 organization, but I do have a small network of transporters and volunteers. My goal is to prevent the euthanasia of adoptable animals who find themselves at kill shelters, and give them a second chance at life. My adoption fees range from $50-$250, and all dogs are UTD on shots and spayed/neutered before they are adopted out. NO ANIMAL WILL BE SHIPPED OUT OF STATE OR ALLOWED TO BREED

Friends of Pets of Klamath Basin

Friends of Pets of Klamath Basin is a federally tax exempt local, all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the lives of cats and dogs in Klamath County, OR. Our membership is composed of local residents. We are totally grassroots! We are a “no-kill organization for felines in that none are destroyed because they run out of adoption time, are shy, aged, or injured. Once a feline enters our program, each receives the best care possible and an assurance each will be adopted into a long-term, loving home or have a place at “Cat Haven. We do not accept feral felines. We do not have facilities to take in canines.
