Reach Out Rescue, NFP

We are a licensed, foster home based, not for profit animal rescue. We pull dogs from high-kill pounds throughout the United States. All our animals are fully vetted and socialized with children, cats, and dogs (when able) prior to adoption. An application must be done for every animal, which may be done on our main website. For ALL dog applicants, we must do a house check and criminal background check done prior to approval. We at Reach Out Rescue, NFP believe every animal deserves a second chance at a happy life.

Red Door Animal Shelter

Red Door Animal Shelter is a no-kill shelter committed to helping animals in need. Its primary focus is on the rescue, shelter and adoption of cats, dogs and rabbits—the three most popular pets in the United States. Red Door provides a cageless environment for its animals, giving them the closest-to-a-home experience that a shelter can provide. While our emphasis is on re-homing the animals through resourceful adoption programs, the shelter does offer permanent residence for those few animals not placed in homes. Adoption hours: Monday through Thursday, 1-5pm; Friday, Saturday & Sunday 12-4 p.m. Please call for weeknight hours. Please arrive one hour ahead of closing time. Appointments are highly recommended. All rabbit and dog adoptions are done by appointment only. Dogs available for adoption are not located at our shelter address. The first step is to fill out an adoption application.

Saints Amoung Us - Illinois Saint Bernard Rescue

"Saints Among Us", Illinois Saint Bernard Rescue, affiliated with the National Saint Bernard Rescue Foundation, Inc., is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping abandoned, abused, homeless, and relinquished Saints find a "forever home". ISBR is run solely by volunteers who have a great love for the breed and the dedication to help save them. Our volunteers put in countless hours and travel great distances, to ensure that these wonderful Saints find loving forever homes and are not destroyed. Because we are a rescue group, we do not have "shelter" where the animals are housed. We provide temporary, loving foster homes for all of our dogs until they are placed in their new homes. The dogs are fully vaccinated, sterilized, micro-chipped, parasite, and heartworm free. They are also temperament tested in a variety of situations. Most dogs are 18 months and older. We occasionally get puppies under one year of age. Some of our dogs may require special needs while others just require a lifetime of love.
