The Lehigh County Humane Society is a non-profit, charitable organization, which means all gifts to the shelter are tax deductible. The shelter's goal is to reunite lost pets with their owners and to adopt out homeless pets into a new, loving, forever home. We provide a temporary home until a permanent one can be found. We also provide such services as a low cost spay/neuter clinic, vaccination clinics twice a year, education to the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets, and education on proper care of your pets. We also have a cruelty investigator to serve Lehigh County. Any cruelty complaints made are investigated and any action deemed necessary will be initiated.

Animal Rescue & Referral, Inc., founded in 1996, is a nonprofit organization of caring animal lovers who help find homes for unwanted or homeless dogs and cats. We also educate the public on animal-related topics, participate in spay/neuter programs, network with pure-breed and mixed-breed rescue groups, and provide informative advice and resources for pet owners. We also believe that education will help us battle the ever-growing problems of animal abuse, puppy mills and pet overpopulation.

The Animal Rescue Foundation of Southeastern Pennsylvania (ARF SEPA) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is solely dedicated to the welfare of companion pets here in southeastern Pennsylvania. ARF volunteers regularly patrol public shelters looking for adoptable pets that may be euthanized due to lack of kennel space. Once rescued, pets receive complete veterinary care (including spay/neuter) paid for by ARF, and pets stay with a foster family until adopted into a permanent forever home (as long as that takes).
