Animal Allies of Texas

Animal Allies of Texas is a 501(c)(3) animal advocacy/rescue organization, dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community. Basneji Rescue and Transport

The mission of Basenji Rescue & Transport, Inc. is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home dogs of the basenji breed. BRAT is an all-volunteer organization with 800 plus volunteers fostering throughout the United States and Canada. BRAT is not a shelter. BRAT has been recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt charitable corporation since its founding in 1999. BRAT rescues basenjis from shelters, abusive situations, and relinquishing owners. We provide routine and advanced veterinary care for our dogs and insure that they have been spayed/neutered and appropriately immunized before placement. Although BRAT's primary mission is the rescue of purebred basenjis, we also notify prospective adopters of basenji mixes who need re-homing.

We are a Texas Non-Profit organization, 501(c)(3), dedicated to the rescue of Miniature Pinschers in the Metroplex. Many of our "kids" came to us from shelters and were either picked up by various animal control officers or were surrendered to them by their owners. All of our precious ones are placed in loving foster homes and given the love, care,and attention they so deserve. "To Err is human - to Forgive is Canine".
