Abandoned CatsAbandoned Cats Rescue is a completely independent rescue group that is 100% run by committed volunteers. Most of our cats have been rescued from an out-of-town Animal Control, typically the day before they would be euthanized. Animal Angel Rescue FoundationAARF exists to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abandoned, abused and unwanted animals. Every animal is responded to differently depending on their state of health and temperament. AARF uses a hands-on approach to train and rehabilitate animals so they may become family pets. This enables us to know the animals' personalities and train them accordingly. Our system proves the rate of successful placements is far higher if the animal is healthy, socialized, well trained and re-homed in an environment suited to his or her personality. Ann and Pete's Foster Home for Animal AllianceAnn & Pete's Foster Home for Dogs is located in Pottageville, just North of Toronto, Ontario(Click Here for details) . We foster animals that are brought to us through Animal Alliance's Project Jessie Program. We rescue dogs from local pounds that are in danger of being sold for research. Knowing your local pound sells animals for research may come as a shock to you, but this is quite a common practice. Last year, we found homes for 240 dogs. We are strictly volunteers and receive no financial gains for our work. Big on BeaglesI suppose BOB is no different than any other private rescue group ~ We want MILLIONS OF $$$$ in our beagle rescue fund and an endless supply of wonderful beagle-lovin' foster parents to call upon whenever a beagle needs our help! Okay, okay, we're dreaming a little too big. But, some of our dream is starting to come true! It started with Woofstock and the Rescue Me Walk! This was our very first fundraising event!
