Paws SOS RescuePaws SOS is a no kill rescue operating in the western Iowa/eastern Nebraska area. We pull pets from kill shelters in the area to give them a chance to find a forever home. At this time, we are not taking owner surrenders, due to lack of space, funds, and a large volume of pets in shelters needing our help. No pets are kept in shelters or cages. Perkins County Animal ShelterWe are a no kill animal shelter that can house up to 15 dogs and 10 cats comfortably. We placed 105 animals into new homes in 2004, pretty good for a rural area:) We strive to train each dog to pass the K9 Good Citizen test and make them better pets when they leave than they were when they came. We also help with Colorado and Nebraska pet transports!! One of our dogs even flew to Canada!!
