Platte Valley Humane Society

Exciting news for PVHS! We have purchased the old Platte Valley Veterinary Clinic building in downtown Columbus. We are so thrilled to finally have a building to house our adoptable animals and to have everyone in one place to make it easier for potential adopters to see all of the animals. Of course there is renovation that will need to be done and that takes time and of course MONEY. All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible.

Saunders County Lost Pets - Pet Rescue

Welcome Waggin' Rescue is not a shelter facility but a private home. As such, we have the ability to provide hands-on socialization and training for the lost souls that cross our threshold. They have to learn how to live with other dogs and cats, are crate trained and learn self confidence. Above all, they learn that human hands CAN be gentle. York Adopt-A-Pet

Our purpose is to rescue abandoned, neglected and/or injured animals and return them to their home or find them a new responsible home. Volunteers are always appreciated! We need foster homes for puppies and pregnant dogs and cats. Volunteers can also exercise, clean, and feed the animals at our facility. Volunteers under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We rely entirely on donations to care for our animals. Tax-deductible donations can be mailed to our address.
