Marshall County Animal ShelterThe Marshall County Animal Rescue League consists of a small group of dedicated individuals who through enthusiasm and commitment have turned an "unsheltered" county into a county that has an outstanding shelter program. Our Humane Society is contracted by the Marshall County Commission to oversee animal shelter operations. We work continually to provide progressive programs for the betterment of the shelter and the animals. Marshall County was the only West Virginia Shelter invited to attend the Pets for Life Training sponsored by the Humane Society of the United States and Science Diet Pet Food. Formed in 1977, the Marshall County Animal Rescue has earned two National Awards.
