Lewis Upshur Animal Control Facility

Lewis Upshur Animal Control Facility is Located in Upshur County and is not a Humane Society but an animal welfare organization that serves the needs of two (2) counties. The dogs come into the facility and have a five-day grace period for us to find them a forever home until they are euthanized. If there is a collar with identification on it - we work very hard at finding its owner. We are a rural shelter that has limited means to serve the duty that we are called to do for this area.
