Mission Statement for the Humane Society of Northwest Iowa: "Our goals are to provide a safe, clean and caring environment for pets in need, to assure that only healthy, altered pets are returned to the community, and to educate the public about the importance of proper pet care and pet population control." The Humane Society of Northwest Iowa is a LIMITED ADMISSION shelter. We do not euthanize to make room for animals. Animals are put on a waiting list until space becomes available.
