It is the mission of The Mercer County Humane Society to: -Provide humane care and treatment of all animals needing protection in the area -Seek to return lost animals to their owner, -Work with the public to increase awareness of the importance of responsible pet care, and -The Mercer County Humane Society also sells caskets for your deceased pets along with burial services in our cemetary. -The Mercer County Humane Society will also aid, under special circumstances, individuals who are experiencing financial difficulties of the care and treatment of their animals
