Sheltering Hands Inc.

Sheltering Hands, Inc. is an organization for pet rescue and placements in the Marion & Levy County Florida area. Many of the cats currently in our care are from rescue situations and are now in a volunteer foster network. We currently do not have a shelter building but house all of our cats in the foster network. Although we try to assist with placement of some dogs through networking with canine groups, we do not have housing facilities or foster homes currently available for dogs. Sheltering Hands, Inc. is a "no-kill" 501(c)3 organization established in April 2007.
